Within a few kilometres you can find a marquee tower on Cyber City and an ageing block in Udyog Vihar at a fraction of the price. The decision is mostly about how much building quality and address you are buying, and how your team gets there.

Where to look in Gurugram
These are the micromarkets most flexible-workspace demand in Gurugram concentrates around, and who each tends to suit.
DLF Cyber City & Cyber Hub — The centre of gravity for corporate Gurugram. Grade-A towers, the Rapid Metro, and Cyber Hub next door for meetings and lunch. The most expensive option and the one that carries the most weight with clients.
Golf Course Road (DLF Phases) — A polished corridor of newer towers running south from Cyber City, well served by the Rapid Metro and surrounded by senior-level housing. Popular with funds, consultancies and scale-ups.
Golf Course Extension Road & Sector 65-67 — The newer southern extension. Modern buildings at rates below the main Golf Course Road, and a growing cluster of offices. Road access is good; metro access is not, so most people drive.
Udyog Vihar — The older industrial estate bordering Delhi. Some of the most competitive rates in the city and easy access from south Delhi, in exchange for older buildings and a less polished setting.
Sohna Road & Sector 48-49 — A well-established mid-market corridor with a good balance of building quality and cost. Convenient for teams living in south Gurugram.
MG Road & Sikanderpur — The older commercial spine, directly on the Yellow Line metro. Not the newest stock, but the best straight-line metro access from Delhi in the whole city.
Choosing the right format
What makes Gurugram different
Two things. First, the spread in building quality is unusually wide, so two workspaces at very different prices can sit a short drive apart — it pays to visit rather than judge from photographs. Second, metro coverage is patchy: the Yellow Line and Rapid Metro serve Cyber City, MG Road and Golf Course Road well, but much of the newer southern development is car-dependent. If your team commutes from Delhi, that difference matters a great deal.

What to check before you sign
Ask specifically about power backup and how the building performs during an outage, since supply is less reliable here than the newer towers suggest. Check parking allocation and cost, which is a real constraint in the car-dependent sectors. Confirm the walk from the nearest metro station if your team comes from Delhi, and check the lock-in, notice period and what is actually included in the rate.

What should I check about power backup in Gurugram?
Ask directly how the building handles an outage, whether backup covers the whole floor including air conditioning and lifts rather than just lighting, and how often it is actually used. Power reliability varies more between Gurugram buildings than their appearance suggests, and it is rarely mentioned in a listing.
Can I use a Gurugram coworking address for GST registration?
